Project to empower the community and develop local mechanisms for the protection of children with 3 target population groups: children, communities, and local administration organizations in 3 Thai-Laos Border Districts in Chiang Rai (Chiang Khong, Chiang Saen, Wiang Kaen). The project will build capacity and participation to ensure that children in the three Thai-Laos border districts in Chiang Rai is safe from all forms of violence. This can be done by increasing the knowledge and ability of children to protect themselves, creating a safe environment for children by establishing child protection mechanisms in the community to report cases of violence, and promoting the roles and responsibilities of local administrative organizations in child protection by coordinating with communities and multidisciplinary teams.
