The Program for the Prevention of Child Trafficking and Child Abuse aims to engage, educate, and empower local youth and other community members on human trafficking. We collaborate with NGOs, businesses, and local governments to expand and improve a network to report and help prevent the trafficking and exploitation of children. As part of this project, Center For Girls Foundation conducted surveys to gather more information on the state of human trafficking issues in the district. Since 2012, we have equipped over 30 volunteers to assist their communities, conducted training and workshops in several schools, and worked with ten local businesses to increase awareness and share prevention strategies for human trafficking.
